Anita

Expanded Duties Dental Assistant

Hi, my name is Anita, and I am one of Dr. Helton's dental assistants who has been a part of the team since October 2008.   I feel that working in dentistry is the best career choice for me because I truly enjoy the challenge of fixing broken, discolored teeth.  I understand when our patients feel anxious about their treatment and work hard to make sure that every person we treat is comfortable and leaves our practice with a big smile on their face! I especially enjoy creating crowns with our E4D technology. Patients love that we can do a same day crown. Dr. Helton is a wonderful dentist. She is the happiest person I know, and her positive attitude makes each day at this practice a great day. When I'm not at the practice, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Aaron, and our five children, Brant, Jeff, Allegra, Kylee, and Connor. I enjoy attending my children's sporting events, going boating, home decorating and remodeling, and I also like to sew.

Dental Hygienist

My name is Ashley and I joined the Dentistry on 116 team in May 2008. My favorite part of being one of Dr. Helton's dental hygienists is the education and exceptional technology she provides us to help take care of our patients.  The digital camera is my favorite piece of technology I use every day.  The detailed pictures I take allow you to see exactly what we see in your mouth! I enjoy meeting new people and having the opportunity to maintain healthy, clean smiles. I strive to be personable and gentle to make visits as easy and comfortable as possible!  If you have ever dreamed about lying in bed and having a TV on your ceiling...then you will LOVE our dental office!  During appointments, you can enjoy DIRECTV channels. I love working with Dr. Helton. She makes everybody who is around her feel welcome. I grew up in the country and am the youngest of four children. My husband, Derick, is wonderful, and I am truly blessed to have three amazing children, Kyler, Jaxstin, and Arianna.  In my free time, I love visiting with family and friends, spending time outdoors, volunteering at our church, and playing sports.

Office Coordinator

Hi, I'm Julie, and I am pleased to welcome you and your family to Dentistry on 116. I am the office coordinator, who joined the practice in January 2008. You will most likely see me each time you visit our practice.  I am here to help you schedule appointments and answer any financial questions that you may have. I like working in dentistry, especially getting to know our patients and their families. I enjoy the challenges and rewards of helping our patients, and I strive to make each dental visit as comfortable and convenient as possible. Dr. Helton makes our practice a fun place to be, and she treats everybody with respect. When you visit our practice, you will smile and laugh, and most importantly, you will enjoy your time spent with us. Outside of the practice, I enjoy playing softball and tennis, going to sporting events and concerts (I have seen Dave Mathews Band 32 times), traveling, and loving my beagle dog, Gracie! I also volunteer for an organization called School on Wheels.

Business Assistant

 I am Stefany and I would like to welcome you and your family to our office. I have been with Dentistry on 116 since February 2011. As one of Dr. Helton's office coordinators, you will most likely meet me at the end of your appointment. I am here to help you schedule appointments and to answer any financial or insurance questions you may have. You may also find me helping out our clinical team. Our office is up to date with the newest and greatest technology and procedures. I love getting to know all of our patients and love seeing how happy they are when they leave their appointment. Dr. Helton is a very respectable dentist and you can tell that she truly loves what she does. Outside the office, I am enjoying life with my husband, Shane, our beautiful baby girl, Olivia, and two dogs, Gypsie and Fletcher. I love traveling to visit family, spending time with friends, and being outdoors. We are huge football fans and love watching it all day on Sundays. GO COLTS!

My name is Ashley. I started working with Dr. Helton in July 2011.  I enjoy getting to know my patients and helping them feel comfortable during every dental appointment. My favorite part of my job is getting to meet new people and educating my patients about their oral care. I strive to keep up with the latest advances in oral care by attending continuing education classes annually. I love working for Dr. Helton because she puts everyone at ease with her up beat personality and genuinely cares about every patient. When I am not at the office, I enjoy spending time with my family.  I am grateful to have an amazing husband named Eric, and three wonderful sons, Kaden, Logan and Grayson. As a family we enjoy camping, boating, playing volleyball, and spending time with friends.

Hello, my name is Kelsey and I am one of Dr. Helton's dental assistants. I enjoy getting to know our patients and make sure they are comfortable as possible. I also love learning new things. My favorite part of my job is that dentistry is always growing and changing. Our office continues to strive to be up to date with the latest technology to make sure that our patients receive the best treatment.  I love that we are able to offer the same day crown technology to our patients. Dr. Helton is one of the nicest people I know. She genuinely cares about her patients and provides quality dental care.  When away from the office, I spend time with my husband, Brandon, and our daughter, Paisley.  We also have a cat, Sophie and dog, Kobe.  We enjoy going to the movies, spending time with family and friends and vacationing.  A little know fact about me is that I was born in California and I like to read.

Dental Hygienist

Hi I'm Alana and I am excited to have joined the Dentistry on 116 team in January of 2015. Besides the friendly, upbeat environment of the office, my favorite part of working for Dr. Helton and Dr. Beavers is all the latest technology we have to help treat and educate our patients. Not only can we take x-rays and different kinds of photos of our patients' teeth, but we can then put all of those up on the TV screen for them to see as well! This helps us monitor changing areas in the mouth, explain the necessity for treatment and even show before and after photos. In 2009, I am a proud mom of my young son, Colton and we live on Indy's southwest side with our Great Dane, Sadie, and Dachshund, Zoe. In my free time I enjoy gardening, hiking and baking.

Dental Hygienist

Hello, I am Brianna. I am a dental hygienist and am extremely happy and blessed to be working for Dentistry on 116. I originally joined the team in 2010, moved to Florida a few times and back home in the Midwest for good. Dr. Helton, Dr. Beavers, and our team strives everyday to provide the BEST dental care anyone can ask for! My favorite thing about being able to come to work everyday is helping people of all ages feel comfortable and confident with their smiles and dental health. I truly love this practice and the “family” that comes along with it. We work as a team, have a state of the art facility, and go above and beyond the norm to provide a smile walking out of the door. Outside of the practice, I enjoy traveling, spending time with family and friends, working out, and experiencing new things in downtown Indianapolis. My husband, Seth, and I have three dogs: Bailey, Bella, and Molly.

My name is Jessica and I am excited to join Dr. Helton and Dr. Beavers as a dental assistant. I enjoy getting to know my patients and making them feel comfortable. The best part of being a dental assistant is that I am able to fix broken and discolored teeth so that I can see my patients smile when treatment is completed. I also love that we are able to provide crowns on the same day. When you visit our office, not only will you receive high quality dentistry, but we also take the fear out of going to the dentist. Dr. Helton and Dr. Beavers treat our patients with the upmost respect and make them feel comfortable. We laugh and have fun and our goal is to make sure you leave with a smile. On my days off, I enjoy camping and boating with family and friends. I also enjoy watching baseball and hockey games and spending time with my two wonderful dogs Farley and Daisy .
