I have been a patient of Dr. Helton for five years. I had many bad experiences at the dentist growing up and dreaded going to the dentist, but Dr. Helton and the entire staff at Dentistry on 116 have changed that for me. I enjoy going to the dentist now and look forward to my appointments. They are very easy to talk to, professional, and they truly care about your well being. I usually spend half of the time of my appointment laughing with them which is very difficult when your mouth is wide open, but it is worth it. Thank you Dentistry on 116 for taking great care of me!

I have always had a good experience at Dentistry on 116. I have lived in several different states across the US, and as a result, have been to several different dental offices. I have never met a better team of dental professionals than what I have found at Dentistry on 116. Because of the fear of pain and discomfort, I used to dread going to the dentist. But now, because of you and your awesome team, I now actually look forward to going to the dentist. From cleanings, to crowns, you, Ashley, and Anita have made it all a rather pleasant experience. I’m even actually flossing regularly now. You and each member of your staff genuinely care about people and how they feel, and it shows. Dr. Helton, you are the only dentist I know of that hums while working, and you have a beautiful singing voice! You clearly enjoy what you do, and your warm, happy spirit flows onto your staff and carries over to your patients. The results of your work are spectacular! I have always experienced excellent service at Dentistry on 116. At every step of the way from the moment I enter the office until I leave, I encounter warmth, sincere interest in my concerns, efficiency and serious consideration for my comfort. The reception and dental treatment areas are architecturally and artfully well designed with plenty of light which generates a feeling of openness that makes me feel relaxed and less stressed. Everyone on the staff is very solicitous and professional. Each step of the process is explained and together the patient and staff communicate about an overall plan for good dental health. I have never been one to floss until two years ago when one of the hygienists was very patient, taking the time to work with me and show me the best approach with both thread and the disposable plastic handled floss tools. She was very gentle, and I learned it was possible to floss without pain. Now I wouldn't skip because my mouth wouldn't feel right. What I had steadily resisted easily became a habit with their help. When our dentist of nearly 30 years retired, we tried other dental offices but were not satisfied until Dr. Helton and her staff at Dentistry on 116.

My husband and I had similar beliefs when it came to going to the dentist: they’re painful, expensive and only want your insurance. We could never mention the “D” word without associating it with pain and horrible drilling sounds. YUK. Yes we were adults but very afraid of the dentist; it was always a painful experience both financially and physically. People began talking about dentist experiences at work (I of course began to get cold sweats) when two gentlemen spoke, raving about their dental hygienist and which one had the best (Ashley and Kate). They both were talking about the same dentist office, Dentistry on 116. My response, “Ok so what makes them so great?” They went on to tell me about how they carefully handled fearful adults like myself and encouraged me to make an appointment for a consultation. You never get a second chance to make a first impression, the receptionist Julie is just the ticket for scared adults, and her kindness is genuine. From our first appointment they treated us with great care and each of them gradually reversed the fear of the dentist. That’s a major accomplishment considering where we came from. My husband actually hugged Dr. Aileen when he looked in the mirror at his new smile; he’s never smiled so big. Now when we leave the house, we both smile real big, laugh and say we’ve got the best dentist in the world!
